Bali Wanderers FC

The team, based around the Pererenan area, formed in November 2020 from two futsal groups who wanted to play some grass football. We chose our pink and black colours to avoid kit clashes with our opponents, and had our team badge designed to include a Bali Starling. We were soon playing the local desa teams and our contact list expanded to a point where we have played 50 different opponents. Over time the team grew and improved and at one point we had 9 Bali based ex-professional footballers in our squad. Of course, being based in Bali, the numbers fluctuated wildly and post COVID has seen much travel.

Drawing 2-2 with the Bali United U20s at Samudra was a defining moment for a team that was 2 years old. We set up a Legends team in the middle of 2022 for our players who were over 35 and no longer playing regularly and it has been hugely successful, moving from playing once to twice a month.

Our ambition is to find a pitch we can call home and look to develop an amateur league to help competitive football and improve the experiences for the local football community.
